Pottery Workshop

We’re back again!

            On July7^th  2019, we went to Pottery workshop that is a workshop about making a handicraft pottery made from clay and some mixture. We had a new friends named Jenny, jenny is an Indonesian just like us, she is from Jakarta city, and she is college in here Chiayi University. Then we started from our basecamp at 08.50 am with riding bicycles and went to Pottery workshop. In there the workshop owner taught us how to make some craft and we learn about how to make some two dimension (2D) crafts.

            Before we make some crafts, the owner taught us to use some tools looks like knife, how to use the clay and make it flat and ready to use. After that he taught us how to draw on a clay but we need some picture on clay first, after that he draw like the picture just following the line of the picture on clay with the tool. Then it’s our turn to make some crafts, first we draw some picture in a paper, we drew some pictures like dragon, logo, dragon fruit, flowers, doraemon, and many more, after that we put it on clay and start drawing just following the line of the pictures. After that we cut it and threw away the part of clay that we don’t need. We finish the crafts at 12.30 pm and we went back to our basecamp.
