FINAL PRESENTATION & CLOSING CEREMONY

 Today, July 27th, is Final Presentation and Closing Ceremony for 2019 Rural-Up participants from the international team. Because the program was held in Taipei city, which is 269 KM from our village, so we had to leave at 7 in the morning, even though the program just started at 1:00 p.m. We arrived at the location at 11 noon. We immediately put our products at the stand that was provided because it turned out that the other teams were ready with their stands.

The event opened with a performance of the Filipino sinaki dance. Then greeting from the representatives of Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, continued greeting from The President of the National Cung Hsing University. The next agenda is the submission of certificates to each participant, each team, university representatives, and community leaders.

During the thirty minute break, our team was called in for a photo session and also interviewed by the media. After that, the event continued with the final presentation by each team to present the results of their performance for less than a month in their respective communities. Finally, we can fight our fear to make presentations using English in front of the international community. The presentation was interspersed with video activities during here and also delivery from each community. Officially the event was closed by Professor Wu as the Chief Executive.

In the end, we were relieved and could relax a little. Because for the past week we have continued to work under pressure to prepare posters, products, and presentations. Alhamdulillah.
